Research On The Application Of Cubist Expression Language In Journal Cover Design

Discuss the problem of Chinese journals cover design is put forward by Mr Zhang Shouyi as early as in 1985,and published in the "art" magazine,the same year in March at the first national journal cover design awards,pulled open the curtain of journal cover design in our country,after 36 years today,preliminary expression on the issue of the journal cover design was solved,the development to the present stage of journals cover design highlights the two questions: 1,how to break through the bottleneck of stereotype,further unity and improve the original style is unique;2.In the era of electronic reading and paper reading,break through the common form and achieve a state of unity and visual harmony.Art and design periodicals are an important way to spread knowledge of art subjects in China,and they must bear the first priority in visual image design and identification,so as to realize the synchronous expression of solid information transmission and aesthetic appreciation.At present our country art design journals on the cover design in the visual expression of homogeneity phenomenon is serious,in this paper,the typical art design journals sorted out the evolution of cover design,and emphatically analyzes the"journal of hubei academy of fine arts of the visual image,through longitudinal and transverse comparison research,summarizes the development of the arts journal cover design research and laws.This paper first explains the research background,purpose and significance,domestic and foreign research status,framework and innovation points.Secondly,by inducting,analyzing and summarizing the expression language of cubism,the "multidimensional" creation technique is extracted to reveal the expression characteristics of "domain".Taking this as a breakthrough point,through the cover design practice of Journal of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts,this paper verifies the possibility of the application of the design concept and method of "domain" in the cover design of paper reading and electronic reading,which contributes to the language expression of journal cover design.
