Social network addiction brings a series of adverse effects on college students’ physical and mental health.It is extremely important to distinguish college students who are inclined to social network addiction,and to explore its influencing factors and intervention methods.There is a close relationship between missing fear and social network addiction tendency,but empirical research is lacking.This research is conducted by a combination of quantitative research and experimental research,and contains two research parts.The first study adopted a quantitative research method,and through convenient sampling,distributed the Chinese version of "Fear of Missing Inventory","Questionnaire on Social Network Addiction Propensity of College Students" and "Demographic Variables Questionnaire" in Chinese to 2185 college students from 7 universities in Yunnan Province.The current situation of college students’ missing fear and social network addiction tendency and the relationship between the two were analyzed;the second study took the students of Yunnan Normal University as the research object,and the experimental group and the control group were selected based on the survey data of the first study.The experimental method was adopted.Intervention,using a pre-test experimental design,implemented 8 group psychological counseling interventions for the intervention group,while the control group did not deal with it,and explored the effectiveness of the group psychological counseling program from the perspective of intervention missed fear to reduce the level of college students’ social network addiction tendency.This study draws the following conclusions:1.There are significant differences in the fear of missing out among college students in gender,professional category,and grade.The level of missing fear of female college students is significantly higher than that of male college students;the level of missed fear of liberal arts and science majors is significantly higher than that of engineering majors;the level of missed fear of sophomores is significantly higher than that of freshmen,thirds and fourths The level is significantly higher than juniors.2.The fear of missing the situation of college students has significant differences in different ethnic groups and whether they are student leaders.The level of fear of missing situations among minority college students is significantly higher than that of non-minority college students;the level of fear of missing situations among college students serving as student leaders is significantly higher than that of college students who are not serving as student leaders.3.There are no significant differences in the fear of missing out among college students in whether they are single children,different hukou locations,student leaders,whether they are in a relationship,parental education,and family income.4.The social network addiction tendency of college students has significant differences in gender,whether it is an only child,professional category,grade,and whether it is a student leader.The social network addiction tendency score of female college students was significantly higher than that of male college students;the social network addiction tendency score of non-only-child college students was significantly higher than that of only-child college students;the social network addiction tendency score of college students who served as student cadres was significantly higher than that of non-student cadres The scores of social network addiction tendency of liberal arts and science students are significantly higher than those of engineering students;the scores of social network addiction tendency of sophomore and senior students are significantly higher than those of freshmen,and the scores of social network addiction tendency of sophomores are significant Higher than juniors.5.There are significant differences in the dimensions of college students’ social adaptability in their mothers’ cultural level.The higher the mother’s education,the lower the scores of college students on the social adaptability dimension.6.There are significant differences in the scores of college students’ obsessive thinking dimension in whether they are in a relationship.The scores of obsessive thinking of college students who are in love are significantly higher than those of college students who are not in love.7.There is no significant difference in the social network addiction tendency of college students in different ethnic groups,different household registration,father’s education level,and family income.8.The total scores of missed fear of college students and the scores of various dimensions are significantly positively correlated with the tendency of social network addiction and the scores of various dimensions.The level of college students’ missed fear has a significant positive predictive effect on the tendency of college students’ social network addiction.9.The social network addiction tendency group counseling of college students based on cognitive behavioral therapy can reduce the college students’ fear of missing out,thereby reducing the social network addiction tendency of college students. |
