Theoretical Logic And Practical Path Of Chinese Cultural Diplomacy In The New Era

In this day and age,it is an era of peaceful development,win-win cooperation and mankind sharing the same destiny and breathes together.As one of the three pillars of diplomacy following political diplomacy and economic diplomacy,cultural diplomacy is an important way to win the international right of speech,shape the national image,and maintain the cultural security,which plays an important role in introducing Chinese cultural traditions,social systems,values,and political choices externally,and internally serving cultural construction,promoting the development of cultural industries and undertakings.China,an ancient civilizations with long history and splendid culture,through communication and dialogue,reducing misunderstandings of civilization and promoting the diversity of civilization,has always emphasized the appeal and influence of cultural diplomacy,advocated launching a series of diplomatic activities under the overall diplomatic strategy to create a good environment for the realization of the Chinese dream through communication and dialogue,reducing misunderstandings of civilization and promoting the diversity of civilization.The paper mainly adopts the method of document research,the unity of history and logic and the combination of theory and practice.It takes Socialism with Chinese Characteristics entering a new era as background,takes cultural diplomacy as research object,takes "how to be possible and how to advance" as logical thread to excavate deeply the basis,guiding principles,practical results and paths of the formation of cultural diplomacy.The full thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainly explains and analyzes the concept of cultural diplomacy.Chapter Two analyzes the theoretical origin and realistic foundation of cultural diplomacy in the New Era from a macro perspective.The third chapter uses General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech,diplomatic thoughts,and activities as a reference blueprint to elaborate on the necessity,multi-level goals and guiding principles of cultural diplomacy.The progress in practice is centered on three aspects: foreign cultural relations comprehensively,deepening foreign cultural exchanges in multilevel field,and carrying out cultural activities extensively.Chapter Four analyzes the opportunities and challenges faced by the diplomacy from a dialectical perspective.Based on above theories,Chapter 5 explore an effective way to deepen China’s cultural diplomacy in the new era,and puts forward five specific suggestions:adhering to the principle of openness,tolerance,mutual benefit and win-win;combining the needs of the time to innovate the form of exchanges;optimizing the propagation path;mobilizing multi-subjects to participate in coordination;improving and perfecting the institutional mechanism.
