Research On Bai Juyi’s Poems Of Prostitute

Bai Juyi’s poems had a lot of space was related to the prostitute,these poems of prostitute were richer in content,they not only showed the prostitute characteristics of the mid and later Tang dynasty,more was to keep a record of Bai Juyi’s lives,this type of poetry study widened we understand the perspective of Bai Juyi,and it also makes his research on the content of poetry more complete.The body of the paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter describes the development and evolution of the Tang Dynasty Shi-prostitute Poems.It was after the Qin and Han Dynasties that scholars first began to write poems about prostitutes.After the Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties period,the works of "listening to prostitutes" and "seeing prostitutes" in the poems of scholars gradually increased,but the content of poetry was often objective and empty.In the Sui and Tang Dynasties,more abundant poems of prostitute began to appear.Prostitutes and literati association more closely,and these prostitute poems pay more attention to the inner world of the prostitutes.The second chapter discusses the basic situation of Bai Juyi’s poems of prostitute.This paper studies Bai Juyi’s poetry about prostitutes as an independent type of poetry.Firstly,according to his life experience and different writing regions,these poems can be divided into three categories: the poetry related to prostitutes in Chang’an,"Sizhou" and Luoyang period.Secondly,it explores the specific content of poems of prostitute,which mainly includes poems of social intercourse and wine.Finally,it analyzes the cultural significance of Bai Juyi’s poems of prostitute,including the attention to art and aesthetics,as well as the fate of prostitute.The third chapter explains the literary value of Bai Juyi’s poetry about prostitutes.Bai Juyi’s poetries related to prostitutes have a wide range of genres,among which the most important ones are Pai Lv Poems and Qi Jue Poems,which are unique compared with his poems of other themes.At the same time,the poem used a variety of expression techniques,such as bi-xing,antithesis and synesthesia.Finally,through the comparison with Li Bai and Du Mu’s poems concerning prostitutes in the lyric way,expression techniques and thoughts,the uniqueness of Bai Juyi’s poems concerning prostitutes is further highlighted.
