In the image era,the rich image resources provide convenience for art creation,at the same time,it also expands the space for painting creation.Drawing on borrowing and transformation of images as a theme,the article begins by illustrating the impact that the production of photographic images has on the creation of drawings,And human society after entering the image age,artist’s self metamorphosis of painting creation in the face of a wide variety of image information as well as multimedia technology.Second,the author selected three outstanding artist who borrowed images for art creation in the contexts of image age: Gerhard Richter in Germany,Malin Dumas in South Africa,and pangmaokun in China.By analyzing their creative ideas of art,deciphering the specific ways in which they borrow images and reasonably transform them in creation,learning and implementing them into their own painting creation,this can guide the author’s future direction and pursuit of drawings.
