On The Musical Features And Performance Techniques Of Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody

Franz Liszt is a world-recognized master of Romanticism.He is one of the outstanding representatives of the Romanticism period in the 19 th century,and has a very outstanding contribution and influence in the field of piano performance.Liszt’s 19 th century was the period when romantic music prevailed and gained great development.It was also such a special historical background that made Liszt successful.He was like a prophet of The Times,leading the development of romantic music.In his life,he composed numerous works on a variety of subjects,including symphonies,sound music,oratorios and so on.However,among the numerous subject types,the most representative is still piano music works.The content of this thesis is his "Hungarian Rhapsody".The creation of Hungarian Rhapsody took almost half of Liszt’s life.It can be said that it is the foundational work of Hungarian folk music,and it is still enduring and widely circulated after many years,and is deeply loved and welcomed by people.Hungarian Rhapsody is a piano music work in the music industry status is extremely high,it is not restricted by the general music form,playing style is unique.It not only exercises and tests the performance skills of the players,but also lays a foundation for the development of ethnic piano music in the later generations,and provides powerful music textual data for the research of ethnic music in the later generations.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is Liszt’s life,contribution and influence.This chapter is divided into two sections.In the first section,the author gives a detailed introduction of Liszt’s life so that readers have a general understanding of Liszt.The second section introduces Liszt’s music works and their influence,and affirms Liszt’s contribution in music.The second chapter is the introduction of Hungarian Rhapsody.This chapter is divided into two sections.The first section introduces the creation background of Hungarian Rhapsody to readers.The second section analyzes the creation characteristics of "Hungarian Rhapsody",and integrates the author Liszt’s love for the nation and the country.Every piece of his music is from Liszt’s deepest feelings.The third chapter is the musical characteristics of Hungarian Rhapsody No.11.This chapter is divided into three sections,respectively from the form of the structure,harmony,strength and speed of the music in three aspects of specific analysis of the musical characteristics of the music,to strengthen the theoretical study of the music.The fourth chapter is the analysis of playing techniques of Hungarian Rhapsody No.11.This chapter is divided into four sections.Through analyzing and learning a series of playing skills such as tremolo,appoggiatura,chromatic scale and accented chord,I can improve my playing level and have a deeper understanding of Liszt’s musical works.
