The Artistic Characteristics Of "Love Song" In The Opera "Cang Yuan"

The 1950s and 1960s were a period of prosperity and development of Chinese opera.Composers flexibly borrowed and used the artistic forms of Western opera to create,and repeatedly tried to continuously modify,only to have the rich plots and diverse musical styles of Chinese operas.In 1995,the Chinese opera "Cang Yuan" came out,composed by Xu Zhanhai and Liu Hui,and lyrics by Huang Weiruo and Feng Baiming.The opera adopts the western grand opera form and adds Chinese folk music elements.It is an epic orthodox opera and a milestone in the history of Chinese opera creation.Refer to the opera video version of Che Ying,Wei Song,Yao Hong,and Wang Hui,in which "Love Song" is an aria sung by Naren Gaowa(soprano),and the material comes from the East Mongolian folk song "Da Qing Ma".The melody of the song "Love Song" runs through the entire opera.Its melody is beautiful,coherent and soft,with sincere feelings,and it expresses a clear character image.Therefore,the singer is required to understand the background of the times and the inner feelings of the heroine before singing,so that he can be immersed in the scene when singing,use professional skills to perform soundly and vividly,and vividly show the image of the characters.Efforts to improve one’s professional ability,enrich and enhance music culture accomplishment is the research purpose of this article.The research content of this article is the creative background and story plot of the opera "Cang Yuan",followed by the music analysis of "Love Song",the emotional performance of the heroine Naren Gaowa,and the analysis of the song singing.These aspects are discussed in detail.
