The Allegorical Image Of Zhuang Zi’s Carefree Excursion And "Carefree"

Zhuangzi·Carefree Excursion is the first of the seven chapters in Zhuangzi,and its importance is self-evident.This importance is not only reflected in the gorgeous rhetoric and vivid expression techniques used by Zhuangzi,but also in the ideas behind these words and sentences.In Carefree Excursion,there are many uses of fables,and there are many images that appear in the fables.There are things about people and things.Typical images include Roc,Lofty Man,God Man,and Sage,as well as the Big Gourd and Tree Of Heaven that appeared in the debate between Zhuangzi and Huizi,but the images in the world of fables constructed by Zhuangzi are far more than these.They Appearing on different occasions with different identities,there are not only the “big” image affirmed by Zhuangzi,but also the “Small” image that appears compared to the “big” image.The use of these allegorical images expresses Zhuangzi’s thoughts in a more distinctive form,while at the same time giving people plenty of space for imagination.Here Zhuangzi explained the level of the realm through the debate between Roc and the Chi Yan and wren;the sage,the god,the most man and the official,one village,one monarch,one country,and the comparison between Song Rongzi and Liezi,emphasize The difference between Conditional and Unconditional;and through the debate with Hui Shi,through the different endings of the four fables of Big Gourd,Tree Of Heaven,Cattle,and Beaverin different situations,highlighting the difference between“usefulness” and “uselessness” relationship.Among them,from the debate between small and big,one can see the realm of "big and transform it",which describes the transformation and promotion of a state from "big" to "transformation"."Unconditional" means observing the laws of nature and adapting to natural changes.Breaking the limitations of time and space,the later "Great use of useless things" shows that different subjects have different perceptions of the value of things,which in turn reflects that "usefulness" and "uselessness" are not absolute.In Carefree Excursion,Zhuangzi uses variousfables to create an ideal spiritual state,namely "Carefree",and at the same time expresses his own thoughts through fable image.
