A Report On The Practice Of Consecutive Chinese-english Guide Interpreting In Zhili Governor’s Office

The report is based on a consecutive interpretation of the guide’s introduction of Zhili Governor Office in Baoding Hebei province.In the present report,the interpreter first describes the process of the interpreting task,and then analyzes the difficult points in interpreting in order to provide reference for future practice.This report consists of five parts: task description,process description,pre translation preparation,case analysis and conclusion.The first part mainly describes the background information of this practice,and the second part describes the process.The third part is the preparation before interpreting.The interpreter first searched some basic information of Zhili Governor Office through the Internet,and visited there beforehand to learn more about it.The fourth part is the case study.Guided by the Interpretive Theory,the translator illustrates the difficult points in the practice of interpretation,including the translation of culture loaded words,sentences without subject,repetitive language and illogical sentences.The fifth part is the conclusion of interpreting practice.In this interpreting practice,the interpreter analyzes and summarizes the difficult points in interpreting practice,and puts forward corresponding interpreting strategies,so as to make full preparation for the future interpreting work,thus reducing problems and improving the interpreter’s interpreting level.
