| Calligraphy is a unique traditional culture and art with a long history in China.From Oracle Bone Inscriptions in Yin Ruins to modern calligraphy,it is a great art masterpiece in China.Copying the traditional inscriptions and calligraphy is the first step to calligraphy.Throughout the history of calligraphy,all the successful calligraphers are innovative on the basis of inheriting the tradition.Copying the classic inscriptions is the fundamental path to entry and an important source of growth.This paper analyzes the relationship between copying and creation and its influence on my creation from the perspective of ancient calligraphy copying.1.Starting from the meaning and creation of copying,this paper expounds the importance of copying for calligraphy learning.2.Looking through the books of the past dynasties,copying is an important topic that most calligraphers talk about.The calligraphers of the past dynasties have a very insightful discussion on the copying of calligraphy,which has its own unique theoretical value.This chapter focuses on the view of copying of Dong Qichang,Wang Duo,Jiang Kui and Huang Tingjian.This paper makes an in-depth analysis of his views.3.The ancient people’s view of copying has a lot of beneficial enlightenment to my calligraphy study and creation.This chapter mainly attempts uses the ancient people’s view of copying to guide my calligraphy creation. |
