| With the development of economy and tourism,Xi’an,as the previous "Ancient Capital of Thirteen Dynasties",has become extremely famous in the world.Many international students choose to come to Shaanxi for study.In the work of teaching Chinese as a second language,the adaptation problem of international students has gradually emerged and has become the focus of many scholars’ research.This paper focuses on more than 60 international students from 9 universities in Shaanxi,and analyzes the influence of dialects on foreign students’ language adaptation,social adaptation,psychological adaptation,and regional cultural adaptation from the perspective of cultural adaptation.After collecting the questionnaire survey,11 of them were interviewed to further supplement the questionnaire description.The questionnaire data was sorted online using SPSS21.0 software,mainly frequency descriptive analysis and difference relationship research.This study found that the status quo of foreign students’ cognition of dialect is not good,and it has also been negatively affected by dialects’ adaptation to foreign students in life,psychology and cultural adaptation.At the same time,most international students also have the willingness to learn dialects,and they want to get help in life,study,and interpersonal communication by understanding dialect knowledge,so as to better adapt to the life of studying abroad and improve their Chinese language ability.Therefore,it is necessary to introduce some local dialect-related content in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.On the one hand,it can improve the cultural adaptability of international students,and on the other hand,it can enrich the teaching content and spread the regional culture.The innovation of this paper is to study the influence of dialects on the adaptability of international students in China from the perspective of cultural adaptation.Shaanxi has abundant cultural and educational resources.In the work of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,offering content related to regional culture can increase the sense of integration of international students and promote their study of Chinese.Based on the questionnaire and interview content,this paper specifically screens the high-frequent and local-specific dialect vocabulary that foreign students may encounter when adapting to local life,so as to enrich the content of Chinese teaching and improve the awareness of international students on local culture. |
