| Music normal education in China has been developing for more than 100 years.During this period,it has been developing and changing,which has formed a prosperous situation.Since the end of last century,China’s higher education has gradually changed its past elite development mode and gradually embarked on the road of mass development.Many ofthe original specialized colleges,secondary normal schools and secondary vocational and technical schools have become undergraduate colleges and universities,taking advantage of this trend,or merging or expanding,Xianyang normal college,located in Xianyang City,Shaanxi Province,is such a university.It has been merged into an undergraduate college and has established music major according to the needs of grass-roots talents in Guanzhong area.It has been 20 years since.The author has worked in the music college of Xianyang Normal University of Shaanxi Province for more than ten years.I have experienced the development process of musicology from the beginning of its establishment to its initial scale and then to the independent college.I have a deep feeling for the development and change of music major.In line with the principle of enrollment and employment based on Xianyang,facing the whole province and radiating the whole country,with the attention of the state to the quality education of primary and secondary schools,in recent years,the college music major has delivered a large number of music education and teaching talents for primary and secondary schools in Shaanxi Province,and also provided many excellent music talents for the social music industry.However,with the adjustment of employment policy in China,the music teachers in primary and secondary schools are saturated,and the music major in normal colleges is facing serious employment problems.Many students have the situation of "graduation is unemployment".Although the current enrollment of music major is still optimistic,whether graduates can get a smooth employment,whether they can finish their work in quality and whether they can submit satisfactory answers for the society will affect the survival and development of the major.Therefore,we must set up a clear professional orientation,and according to the social demand for talents,we must continuously adjust the training plan of music professionals,formulate a series of reform measures such as scientific and reasonable curriculum setting,and cultivate music education talents who meet the needs of social reality,have the ability to complete work,have good innovation and entrepreneurship awareness and ability,Only in order to make the professional healthy and orderly development.This paper takes the music major of Xianyang Normal University as the starting point,expounds the background and significance of the reform of music major in local and municipal normal colleges,analyzes the current development situation of music major of Xianyang Normal University,and compares the advantages and disadvantages with other kinds of music education specialty in other colleges and Universities in the province,Through the survey of the graduates’ work situation in recent three years and the satisfaction of all aspects of learning and training in school,the paper makes an investigation and analysis.According to the feedback of graduates,social needs,based on the original teaching system,aiming at the existing problems,a series of reform measures are proposed in the aspects of talent training plan,teaching objectives,curriculum setting,education practice,etc.which are more in line with the development of the major and social needs,in order to provide a feasible reference for the healthy and orderly and stable development of the major. |
