Research And Application Of Chinese Style Digital Illustration Design

With the flourishing of digital technology,the spread of computers,the normalisation of the internet and the development of various types of software,the art of illustration has been given the ground to develop digitally.This development has made it possible for illustrators to create in various and convenient ways,and has provided a broader platform for the dissemination of digital illustration.This paper analyses the development of illustration art at home and abroad through documentary research and inductive methods,defines the basic concepts of digital illustration and Chinese style,and summarises the penetration of digital technology into illustration art to understand the transformation of digital illustration painting forms,the diversity of expression styles and the change of communication media.After analysing the current state of development of Chinese style digital illustration,the problems that exist in Chinese style digital illustration are identified.How to develop the Chinese characteristics of digital illustration art? How can traditional Chinese cultural elements be incorporated into the design of digital illustration so as to create digital illustration works with Chinese style? Through the study of traditional Chinese graphics,traditional Chinese colours and traditional Chinese painting,the author has gained an in-depth understanding of the expression of material and spiritual cultural elements in digital illustration;the cultural meaning of each colour in the five elements of Chinese colour theory;the neat and detailed line drawing technique and the vivid painting mood in Chinese painting,based on which he has explored the creation of a fusion of traditional Chinese culture and digital illustration art.Based on this,we have explored the creation of a fusion of traditional Chinese culture and digital illustration art,and created the graduation design digital illustration-"Visual Shanxi".Based on the preliminary research,the work "Visual Shanxi" series of digital illustrations inherits Chinese traditional culture while maintaining the characteristics of modern illustration,presenting a unique Chinese style and expressing the importance of combining Chinese traditional culture with digital illustration.
