| At present,new digital media technology has brought convenience to language learning and teaching,and it puts forward higher requirements for language teachers in applying computer-assisted language learning tools in classroom at the same time.Nowadays,domestic research on teacher education has been relatively complete,but that on technical integration training in language teaching still remains few.Therefore,the translator chooses Teacher Education in Computer-Assisted Language Learning as the translation material.This book mainly introduces the project of teacher education in computer-assisted language learning designed and implemented by the author according to her own experience in teacher education.The project,which is designed and implemented within the framework of sociocultural theory,provides a new research perspective for teacher education in Computer-assisted Language Learning(CALL).Being used to report research results and elaborate academic views and conclusions,the book is an information-based text.There are a large number of technical terms,various nominalizations and long and complicated sentences in the book,which reflects the professionalism and preciseness of academic texts,and meanwhile causes difficulties for the translation practice.Based on the analysis of the type and the intention of the text,the translator determines Newmark’s communicative translation theory as the guidance of the translation practice.In the translation process,strategies such as comprehensive inquiry,literature verification,trial translation,conversion,zero translation,amplification as well as omission are applied to solve the problems at the lexical level;and methods like change of voice,splitting and rearrangement of word order are adopted in overcoming the difficulties at the syntactical level.Finally,in order to achieve the cohesion at the discourse level,strategies such as reiteration,amplification and omission are adopted.The practice aims to provide references for researchers of teacher educators,practitioners and teachers in CALL by demonstrating relevant research and implementation process of the teacher education project in CALL,so that they can actively think about their own practice and conduct in-depth research on related topics.This report selects translation examples,summarizes typical problems encountered in the translation of academic texts,applies corresponding translation strategies to solve them,and analyzes their feasibility in line with Newmark’s communicative translation theory so as to provide some references for the translation of academic texts and achieve the purpose of accurately conveying academic views and exchanging translation experience. |
