| This research takes the Fengyu Culture in Eryuan County,Dali,Yunnan as the research object,and this research focuses on the Minzu cultural integration and Chinese identity in Fengyu during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,with a view to exploring the formation and development process of the Chinese identity of various Minzu groups during this period and the process of the Chinese cultural formation and development.All Minzu groups in the Fengyu area gave birth to the Fengyu Culture together.Fengyu Culture is the result of the integration of multi-Minzu cultures.It is formed by the integration of multi-Minzu cultures under the guidance of Confucian culture,based on the belief culture of Bai Minzu’s “Benzhu”.A complex culture shared by all Minzu groups.The important factor for the formation of Fengyu Culture originated from the long-term infiltration of Confucian culture in Fengyu area during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.The Confucian culture promote the convergence of local Minzu values,and finally integrated the multi-Minzu culture into the inclusive Fengyu Culture.This research attempts to demonstrate that the fusion of various Minzu cultures resulted in the formation of Fengyu Culture,from the identification of the Fengyu Culture to the identification of the Chinese culture,and then the identification of the Minzu groups to China,the Minzu groups in the Fengyu area show the connection between the local cultural identity and the Chinese identity.The first chapter analyzes the chieftain system and Minzu relations in Fengyu area during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.The chieftain system in the Ming and Qing Dynasties provided a certain guarantee for the integration of multiple Minzu groups in Fengyu,and the rule of the chieftain maintained the local Minzu relations in Fengyu.In the process of Minzu migration in Fengyu area,the migration policy of the central dynasty accelerated the flow and integration of Minzu groups.This is the Minzu relationship background of the integration of multi-Minzu cultures.In this wave of entering Yunnan,the immigrants of various Minzu groups in Fengyu were originally "foreigner".In the communication and exchanges,they changed from "foreigner" to "local people",and the resulting culture blending manifested as a common ancestral memory.The second chapter introduces the dissemination of Confucian culture in Fengyu area during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.The rise and development of official Confucianism in Dali has become the cultural and educational conditions for the integration of Fengyu peoples.The popularization of private schools has promoted the spontaneous multi-Minzu cultural exchanges in Fengyu;Fengxiang Academy,jointly built by all Minzu beings in Fengyu,is a cultural and educational institution from nongovernmental multi-Minzu exchanges to officially recognized culture and education.It has realized the enlightenment of all Minzu: the influence of Confucian culture on Fengyu area has formed the social atmosphere of Fengyu’s imperial examination and official service.The local gentry class,and the local gentry in Fengyu area played an integrated role in multi-Minzu culture.The third chapter analyzes the formation of Fengyu Culture and the gradual strengthening of Chinese identity in Fengyu area during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Fengyu Culture is the result of the integration of multi-Minzu cultures.It’s a complex culture which based on Bai Minzu Benzhu culture and the blending of multi-Minzu cultures.It shows the process of Fengyu area from each Minzu culture to regional culture,from which regional cultural identity is generated,namely Fengyu cultural identity,and finally from regional cultural identity to the sublimation of Chinese identity.The process is a basic approach for all Minzu in Fengyu area to achieve the sublimation of cultural identity and Chinese identity.The fourth chapter summarizes the relation between multi-Minzu cultural integration.The specific content of Chinese identity in Fengyu area are the political view of “all under heaven in one family ” of each Minzu group,the social view of“loyalty,filial piety,chastity and righteousness” of each Minzu,and the Minzu value of“Courtesy Distinguishes the Hua and Yi” of each one from different Minzu.Fengyu Culture is a significant part of Chinese Culture.Multi-Minzu cultural integration is the premise of Chinese cultural identity.The conclusion part proposes the enlightenment and significance brought by the formation of Fengyu Culture.Fengyu Culture is the spiritual wealth co-created and shared by various of Minzu groups in Fengyu.It can be seen that multi-Minzu cultural integration is of great historical significance to promote Chinese identity of each Minzu and the recognition of all Minzu groups to the Chinese national community. |
