| Through the deconstruction of Tim Eitel’s works, the author analyzes that his spatial abstraction is the artist’s recreation of minimalpaintings and Hard-edge Painting popular in the 1950 s and 1960 s.This form reflects an unreal sense of reality in Tim Eitel’s paintings.I think this visual effect is directly related to his use of Hard-edge art in the background and the weakening of the characters. The calm gray tone also has a certain effect, giving people a quiet sense of loneliness. In Tim Eitel’s paintings, the traditional concept of space is weakened, and he uses the effect of abstract plane to play the scene into a real space.By simplifying the space background to a plane, the characters are placed in a large open natural environment or indoor exhibition hall.Whether it’s the close-up of characters or the big scene works with characters’ faces, the silent, lonely and silent urban life is Tim Eitel’s constant theme. This paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter introduces the significance and current situation of the research.Tim EItel is one of the representatives of the new Leipzig school in Germany. However, his paintings only appeared in Chinese contemporary art exhibitions in recent years, and are gradually loved by more and more domestic artists, collectors and the public. The second chapter studies how Tim Eitel cut the space and its function. He misplaced the space, making the space background and characters appear another space-time superposition. The third chapter studies the causes of Tim Eitel’s space form and analyzes the value of this form by image analysis, including the influence of Leipzig college and cold abstract and gamut painting on his creation. The fourth chapter introduces Tim Eitel’s influence on my personal creation in the direction of creation, the way of work and the form of expression.Tim Eitel’s painting has a certain value in contemporary art,and is welcomed by the younger generation. At the same time,he also affects a number of young Chinese artists. |
