In the continuous development of art,the ideas,media and modes of communication of art are often affected by the development of science and technology.The development of science and technology directly brings about technological revolution,which promotes the change of art,and the emergence of new technology makes the parts of art that do not have vitality dissolve gradually.Digital painting technology as a new product is a close correlation with the development of science and technology,its emergence and development makes images that make more and more convenient,multivariate,digital painting is the most widely used field game art,practical fine art fields such as graphic design,digital painting and oil painting,as two different painting class in materials,working methods,mode of transmission,etc have greatly different,but between the two has the ontological characteristics of the painting.Due to the characteristics of digital painting technology itself,and the development of the modern oil painting creation,makes produced certain conjunction between sex,so digital painting creation in the digital painting techniques used by whether can from another Angle to cut into the modern oil painting creation,brings to the contemporary oil painting work method of supplement and new exploration direction.Digital painting technology has influenced today’s painting creation from multiple perspectives such as working method,language mode and aesthetic trend.Many contemporary oil painters and painting creators have avoided the impact brought by this technology and sought for new language mode and creation space in the research and exploration of digital painting technology.This paper aims to explore the specific application methods of digital painting technology in contemporary oil painting creation and the rationality of this working method.The research methods are mainly based on the practical exploration of digital painting technology and the case study of different artists’ working methods,on the basis of which the output of views and analysis and demonstration.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces digital painting and digital painting technology,sorts out the definition of digital painting technology and characteristics of digital painting technology,and analyzes the similarities and differences between digital painting and traditional oil painting.The second chapter discusses and summarizes the specific application of digital painting technology in oil painting creation,which is mainly divided into two categories:assisting the working process of oil painting creation through digital painting technology and enriching the picture language through digital painting technology.The third chapter,the digital painting technology is widely used in the modern oil painting creation,this paper analyses the reasons and necessity are divided into "digital painting technology itself,the characteristics of contemporary society in the visual experience of the rich’s influence on the artists,and the development of art history logic" of the three angles,to David at the same time.The views of Hockney,the more representative artist,are further analyzed.The fourth chapter introduces and discusses the application practice and creative achievement of digital painting technology in self-creation.The fifth chapter expounds my own views on the use of digital painting technology in oil painting creation.
