A Practice Report On The English Translation Of "Research On Dynamics And Control Of Planar Parallel Mechanisms With Clearance Joints"

This report is based on Research on Dynamic and Control of Planar Parallel Mechanisms with Clearance Joins,of which Chapter 3 is translated into English as reference.The key and difficult cases are summed up in the process of translation practice.Under the guidance of Werner Koller’s equivalence theory,analysis and summary are conducted on the translation practice.This report is divided into four chapters: Chapter 1 is a brief introduction;Chapter 2 is a description of the translation process,in which 3 basic steps of pre-translation,during-translation and post-translation are introduced;Chapter 3 is the core part of this report.Under the guidance of Koller’s equivalence theory and guided by the stylistic characteristics of EST(English for Science and Technology)texts,specific translation cases are listed to demonstrate the lexical and syntactic features of EST texts;Chapter 4 is a summary of the author’s experience and shortcomings in this translation practice.Through this translation practice,the author carries out specific case analysis from various perspectives.Under the guidance of Koller’s equivalence theory,the characteristics of EST texts are summarized,the translation methods of EST texts generalized,and the specific application of the theory in EST translation explored.The author hopes this report can reflect the guiding significance of the theory to the EST translation practice and provide reference for EST translation.
