Cantata is an important vocal genre produced in Baroque period. In Europe in 17 th and 18 th centuries, due to the rise of castration singers and the gradual improvement of singing skills, bel canto developed to its peak. With the establishment of beckondo singing, cantata also developed rapidly,so that Italian composers of that time created a large number of cantata. In the same period, some composers in England,France and Germany began to use their own native language as lyrics to create cantata,The French representative composer is Baptiste Morin(1657-1744),the British representative composer is Johann pepusch(1667-1752),and the German representative composer is Adam Krieger(1634-1666).On the other hand, cantata also promotes the development of vocal techniques and the promotion of audience. Therefore, this paper selects three common and representative cantata solos, which are lasciar d’amarti by Italian composer Francesco Gasparini(1668-1727)and Alessandro Scarlatti by Italian composer,Le Violette(1660-1725)and Vittoria Vittoria(1605-1674)by Italian composer Carissimi,Giacomo,Through the analysis of the work itself, characterization, the expression of inner feelings and my singing practice and emotional treatment, this paper expounds the music style and singing characteristics of cantata solo,so as to give vocal music learners some reference.
