| In the fields of data visualization and art design, color as an important method of information transmission has attracted more and more researchers and industry practitioners’ attention. In the process of data visualization and artistic design, designers usually first build a set of discrete color palette data when coloring their works.Discrete color palettes play a vital role in the final presentation of the work.Furthermore, whether the emotional inclination of the palette itself is consistent with the emotional inclination of the content of the work data is also an important criterion for judging whether the design of the palette is reasonable. At present, there have been a large number of research work based on discrete color palettes and discrete color palette generation tools. On the one hand, the existing research work mainly focuses on the optimization of the display effect of discrete color palette data,On the other hand,it mainly studies the optimization of the artistic effect of the discrete color palette. However, the research on emotion-based discrete color palette optimization is very rare, and no emotion-based discrete color palette optimization tool has appeared yet.In order to solve the shortcoming of ignoring emotion in current research work, this paper designs an emotion-based discrete color palette optimization algorithm. We summarized the designer’s needs and feedback on our work, investigated the actual emotional perception of users, and obtained the main features of the discrete palette that need to be considered for optimization through data analysis. After that, this article establishes the emotional space and the discrete palette space. The interpolated surface realizes the two-way mapping of emotion and discrete color palette. After obtaining the characteristic interpolation result of the discrete color palette, the input discrete color palette data is used as the initial value to optimize the discrete color palette. |
