The opera "Concentric Knot" is a classic red theme works created against the background of the resistance to the United States and aid Korea,which was created in 1980.In 2020,in order to commemorate the 70 th anniversary of the Chinese People’s Volunteer Army going abroad to fight against the United States and to carry forward the great spirit of fighting against the United States and aiding Korea,"Concentric Knot" will be rearranged and interpreted."Looking up at the dark sky" is one of huang Jiguang’s canto in the play,which is the direct embodiment of Huang Jiguang’s feelings of family and country.This thesis takes the selected section "Looking up at the dark sky" as the research object.First,the writing background of the play and the plot of the selected section are introduced in detail.Secondly,the form,rhythm and lyrics of the song are deeply explained.Finally,the singing of "Looking up at the darkt sky" is studied in detail,including the interpretation of singing treatment,characters and stage practice.Through the above comprehensive analysis of the work,I hope to establish a theoretical basis for singing "Looking up at the dark sky",achieve better singing effect,and provide certain theoretical support for future singers who study this song.
