Study On Yang Shen’s Yuefu Poetry

This paper mainly studies Yang Shen’s yuefu poetics and poems: in literature research,Yang Shen’s textual research on Yuefu literature has made a certain contribution to the preservation and dissemination of Yuefu poetry;The study of yuefu tunes and songs and dances supplements many details in the history of music.In the evaluation of Yuefu poetry,Yang Shen emphasizes resentment rather than anger,and his views are unprecedented,exquisite and fallacy coexist.When interpreting Yuefu poetry,Yang Shen often blends in his own sense of origin,and points out the connection between yuefu poetry and later poetry in content and style while paying attention to its artistic characteristics.Yang Shen’s fictionalized ancient music palace can inherit its theme and form more rigorously,at the same time,draw on the strengths of many people,take talent as poetry,use the Canon to seek for strange,but also can enter a rich ancient theme of ability and connotation.The new yuefu poems contain the broad social reality,and the characters in them show the Confucian creeds that Yang Shen abided by.He expressed his sense of life by singing people and things,and hoped to escape from the disappointment of reality with his detachment from the world.The complex psychological state of Yang Shen when he was banished to Yunnan can be seen from the scenery,customs and game colors in yuefu poems.Under the poetics view of "noble sentiment","noble integrity" and "emphasis on learning",Yang Shen’s yuefu poems inherit the Confucian poetics view of "gentle and honest" in content,and take talent and knowledge as poems,showing the language characteristics of "beautiful and strange",showing the style of both refined and popular taste.However,Yang Shen’s yuefu poems also show contradictions,caution and unfreedom,which are closely related to his unique experience.In short,on the one hand,Yang Shen with profound knowledge in yuefu literature,tunes,singing and dancing research has made a certain academic contribution.In terms of the creation of Yuefu,it could be called the master of yuefu poetry in the Ming Dynasty for its large number of creation,broad social realistic content,beautiful and strange language and artistic characteristics of both refined and popular taste.But on the other hand,Yang Shen’s "erudite habit" in his yuefu poetry diluted the emotional concentration of his yuefu poetry,and also affected his yuefu poetry achievements to a certain extent.
