Sports Activities And Aesthetic Features In Dunhuang Frescoes

Physical activity has been penetrated into every level and link of social life,it is an inevitable requirement of social development.Dunhuang frescoes recorded a large number of sports activities,are with extremely high historical research value,has a very important reference significance for the research and dissemination of sports culture.From the perspective of the intersection of sports and art,this study combines Dunhuang frescoes and sports activities to analyze and demonstrate,which research the social background and aesthetic characteristics of Dunhuang Sports Murals.Hope to provide reference for the future interdisciplinary research and promote the development of interdisciplinary sports and art.The following conclusions are drawn:1.Dunhuang has a unique geographical location,which is influenced by foreign sports culture and formed a diversified culture after its integration with local sports culture,which has distinct regional characteristics.2.The sports activities recorded in Dunhuang frescoes are rich in content and diverse in forms,mainly including angular contact,chess game,hunting,swimming,throwing,martial arts,weightlifting,equestrianism,bow and arrow etc.,which are the true reproduction of sports activities at that time.3.The creation of Dunhuang Sports Murals met the needs of the development of the times and was influenced by the politics,economics,culture and religion of the social development at that time.The sports culture in different periods affected the selection of themes by the creators of Dunhuang frescoes.4.From the perspective of the social background and sports aesthetics of the development of Dunhuang frescoes,the sports aesthetic characteristics in Dunhuang frescoes are the result of the influence of a variety of aesthetic factors.It integrates the overall beauty of harmony and unity,the formal beauty of profound meaning,the spiritual beauty contained in the murals,the formal beauty of luxuriant fiber,the elegant and smooth movement beauty,and the healthy beauty of fiber fit.
