| Chinese is a kind of language rich in rhythmic forms.The theory of prosody plays an important role in the developmental history of Chinese poetry,affecting and restricting the internal and operational rules of Chinese poetry.Therefore,based on the theory of Prosody,the thesis studies the poems of "Pilgrim to the West".The thesis discusses the corpus value of the poetic language of "Pilgrim to the West" from the whole,and finds that the poetic language of "Pilgrim to the West" has the era characteristics of Chinese in the Ming Dynasty,unique aesthetic character and strong cultural color.Under the guidance of this conception,the thesis explores the specific expressions of the rhyme words,the structure of sentences and the rhythm form of the poetry on "Pilgrim to the West" based on the theory of prosody.Firstly,by use of prosodic hierarchy theory,the prosodic words in the poems of "Pilgrim to the West" are divided into two-syllable standard prosodic words,three-syllable super-prosodic words,and four-syllable compound prosodic words.After classification and discussion,it is found that the utility of prosodic word formation is so powerful that it even surpasses the constraints of syntactic structure.Then,the theory on prosodic structure will be employed to analyze the types of prosodic structure in the different sentence patterns in the poems of "Pilgrim to the West",and the prosodic effect of the typical sentence pattern combination.And the research found that the prosodic structure of the "Pilgrim to the West" poetic sentence pattern presents a mainstream tendency,but linguistic expression of localization and colloquialization makes its prosody structure create particular types.Finally,by means of the principle of poetry construction,this thesis explores the overall rhythmic form of the poems of "Pilgrim to the West" from a macro perspective,finding that phrases and sentence patterns in the poem show the law of reciprocating loops,the sentence patterns of the words show differences on rhythm and the three-character sentence pattern mixed in verses and sentences presents a brisk vigor,which makes the poems have a humorous effect.In summary,the thesis is based on the theory of prosody,the poetry of "Pilgrim to the West" as the research corpus,fully explores the poetic expression of "Pilgrim to the West" from the perspective of prosody. |
