| Gabriel Faure was one of the famous French composers of the late 19 th century.He created almost all kinds of works,including more than 100 art songs,and made great contributions to the development of art songs in France and even Europe in the 19 th century.The three art songs studied in this paper —Ici-bas,Les Berceaux and Au bord de I’eau-were composed by the composer Faure based on the poems of the poet Sully Prudhomme.Starting from the poem ousia,the thesis studies the characteristics of the poet’s writing style and the meaning and rhythm of the three poems,and explores the composer’s style of word selection and the opportunity of the creation of the three songs.Secondly,starting from the music ontology,on the basis of the analysis of poetry,the music structure of the three songs were studied and interpreted.The third chapter is the comparison and analysis of the versions sung by the famous singers as well as the summary of the author’s own experience in learning and practicing the three works. |
