| At present,the total number of Internet users in China has exceeded 800 million.The Internet has become an indispensable part of daily life and study for young people who are the major users of the Internet.In recent years,the positive influence of cyber behavior has been the focus of researchers,and the internet altruistic behavior is the representative of it.Internet altruistic behavior refers to the behavior of individuals who help others and do not seek rewards in the cyber environment.Through the research on the internet altruistic behavior,it can not only enrich the research content of the cyber psychology,but also give full play to the positive role of the Internet and contribute to the power of psychology for building a civilized and harmonious cyber environment.The concept of social class has a long history and has been involved in many disciplines.In recent years,psychologist has paid attention to it.However,from the perspective of psychology,it is rarely studied to explore the relationship between social class and internet altruistic behavior.Based on the review and analysis of many domestic and foreign related literature,this study uses interviews and questionnaires to focus on the impact of social class on internet altruistic behavior,as well as the role that cyber interpersonal trust and empathy play in this impact.Study 1 uses depth interview method to learn about the current situation of adolescents’ internet altruistic behavior,and the impact of social class,empathy and online interpersonal trust on this behavior.Using the qualitative research method,through the collation and analysis of the collected interview data,this study explains the relationship between social class,empathy,online interpersonal trust and adolescent internet altruistic behavior.The results show that:(1)social class,empathy and interpersonal trust have a positive impact on online altruism;(2)subjective social class has greater influence on online altruism than objective social class.Study 2 uses a questionnaire method to conduct a collective test of 1127 middle school students.The influence of social class on adolescents’ internet altruistic behavior and its internal mechanism are discussed.The results show as the following:(1)the online interpersonal trust partially mediated between subjective social class and internet altruistic behavior;and(2)empathy moderated the relationship between the online interpersonal trust and internet altruistic behavior;specifically,the positive effect of the online interpersonal trust on internet altruistic behavior increased with the increase of empathy.In short,this study explores the effects of social class on adolescents’ internet altruistic behavior and its internal mechanism.The results show as the following: social class will directly affect adolescents’ internet altruistic behavior;online interpersonal trust partially mediated between social class on adolescents’ internet altruistic behavior;empathy moderated the relationship between the online interpersonal trust and adolescents’ internet altruistic behavior. |
