The Composition Characteristics And Singing Of Handel’s Opera Aria "Da Tempeste Il Legno"

Handel(George Friedrich Handel,1685-1759),as a master of Baroque music his works covers opera,oratorio and instrumental music.Handel has outstanding achievements in the field of opera writing.The opera "Gulio Cesare" was created in the golden age of Handel’s opera writing.The opera uses eight arias to exquisitely depict the character image of the heroine Cleopatra.Exquisite and exquisite,with high learning and research value.This article takes Cleopatra’s last aria in the third act of the opera "Da tempeste il legno" as the research object.Chapter 1 introduces the background of the opera and the character image of the heroine Cleopatra.Simple analysis.The second chapter specifically discusses the creative characteristics of the aria "Da tempeste il legno" from the three aspects of musical structure analysis,melody elements analysis,and piano accompaniment analysis.In the last chapter,the author selects himself in the process of learning this aria.Three different singing versions have been used for reference,and the different artistic treatments of the three singers are explored and studied.Finally,combining theoretical knowledge and their own singing experience,how to sing "Da tempeste il legno" from the four aspects of breath,emotion,skills and stage performance "Da tempeste il legno" is a summary of the work,hoping to bring certain application and reference value to the learners of Handel’s vocal works.
