| Under the current social background,more and more people will show themselves on social media,that is,to show their private life in public space,including self portraits and short videos of private life in the circle of friends or micro-blog and other network public space.Users show the most wonderful side of their life,which is an aesthetic behavior and an aesthetic creation activity.Historically,the popularity of this kind of aesthetic behavior is a phenomenon that will not appear in pre-modern society.The occurrence of this phenomenon is not only related to personal factors and social factors,but also related to the cultural changes of Chinese society.To explore the mechanism of this behavior is not only helpful to understand the new characteristics of social aesthetic behavior under the background of Chinese social change and cultural transformation,but also helpful to grasp the development of aesthetic concept and aesthetic behavior in the process of Chinese social change.By combing the existing studies,this paper finds that most of the previous studies analyzed this phenomenon from the perspective of communication and psychology,which provided an empirical research basis for the analysis of the mechanism of its occurrence in this paper.However,the self-presentation of public space is not only a psychological phenomenon,but also an aesthetic phenomenon,and the research from this perspective is missing at present.In addition,few existing studies have explored the mechanism of this phenomenon from a macro perspective,that is,the perspective of social change.The main purpose of this paper is to explain the phenomenon from the perspective of social transformation in China.This paper uses the quantitative analysis method to analyze the possible influencing factors of this phenomenon,and finds that the self-presentation of public space is affected by many factors,including personal personality characteristics,social capital,social environment and demographic factors.Furthermore,this paper also finds that these factors are changing with the development of Chinese society,and with the deepening of the degree of marketization of Chinese society,there are more and more differences among different groups of people,and the formation of these differences is the result of social change and cultural transformation.This paper analyzes the characteristics of China’s social change and cultural change,and the impact of social change on aesthetic understanding and aesthetic behavior.It finds that social change and cultural transformation promote the personalized and diversified development of social thoughts and values,and further promote people’s aesthetic ideas and aesthetic behavior towards the direction of diversification.The popularity of self-presentation on social media is the inevitable reflection of aesthetic diversity in the process of social change. |
