As a comparative research method for education,the "heterogeneous class" is based on classroom teaching.It takes daily teaching problems as the starting point,takes specific teaching content as the carrier,and explores teaching improvement and teacher development as the goal.The “heterogeneous class” can effectively improve the effectiveness of teaching and research activities."Heterogeneous class" research activities can stimulate the enthusiasm of teachers to participate in teaching and research,promote teachers to form a learning community,and make teachers become researchers.In the "heterogeneous class" research activities,classroom observation plays a decisive role.The core of the "heterogeneous class" is expert guidance,peer mutual assistance and self-reflection.Taking the same content as teaching materials provides teachers with opportunities and space for self-interpretation of teaching materials.Literature method,classroom observation,case comparison analysis and interview were used.Through classroom observation and LICC classroom scale,the two front-line old teachers with different teaching methods were recorded,and the differences between the two teachers in teaching design,classroom teaching behavior and teaching reflection were analyzed.Through the interviews with seven teachers,including teaching teachers,lecture teachers and organizers,this study summarized and sorted out the interview content.To understand the effect of "heterogeneous class" reading teaching,try to answer the following two questions:(1)What are the effects of the case study of "heterogeneous class" research model on reading teaching ?(2)What factors affect the effectiveness of the implementation of "heterogeneous class" research model ?This paper combines the heterogeneous school-based teaching and research practice carried out by the English group of Yining XX Middle School.Through case analysis,the influence of heterogeneous research mode on English teachers’ reading and teaching is discussed.Through interviews,it understands the factors affecting the effective implementation of "heterogeneous class".Teacher’s teaching cases were compared,analyzed and interviewed,and data were obtained,which were analyzed using SPSS23.0 software.Through the research,the author draws the following conclusions :(1)The impact of the case study on reading teaching is reflected in teaching objectives and design of key and difficult points,application of teaching methods,quality of classroom interaction,and active reflection.(2)Through interviews with teachers,the author summarizes the factors affecting the effective implementation of "heterogeneous class" : teachers’ participation attitude,students’ learning situation,and the supervision and support of the school.
