On The Graduation Of The Creation Of The "Dear Child" Series

As the subject matter of children’s paintings becomes more mature,they are often seen and loved by the public.The main purpose of this article is to use the painting techniques and theoretical knowledge I have acquired and integrate them into my graduation work and thesis writing.This paper takes the development of traditional painting of children’s characters as a starting point to appreciate the creation practice of contemporary painting of children’s characters and the artistic embodiment of the truth,goodness and beauty of children.The article is divided into four main parts: Chapter 1 is the introduction,Chapter 2 discusses the source of creation through the characteristics of children’s "childlike innocence" and Su Hanchen’s painting "Baby Play",and Chapter 3 elaborates on the creation of "Dear Child" series from the aspects of composition,shape,color and technique.On the one hand,it enhances the author’s research and study of contemporary brushwork figure painting,and on the other hand,it helps the truth,goodness and beauty from the natural interest of children,and re-experiences the beautiful time full of childishness,so as to explore the fun in children’s subject matter painting.
