Erhu concerto "Impression of Red Earth" was created by the composer Mr.Qu Dawei.The composer’s progress in inheritance and innovation is of great significance to the development of erhu works by exploring richer performance techniques and stronger emotional expression.This paper mainly discusses from four aspects: the background of music creation,the analysis of musical form and the performance skills,and the expression of musical emotion.It is hoped that through the author’s analysis and summary of the music,combined with his own performance practice,the work can be interpreted more accurately and provide a reference for the players who need to learn the music.
