New Sound Research Of Bamboo Flute Combined With Electronic Music Technology

The bamboo flute is one of the oldest traditional musical instruments in China and has a long history of development.Its expression has developed from accompaniment instruments to solo and ensemble.Composers and performers continue to explore the expressive power of the bamboo flute as a traditional Chinese solo and ensemble instrument.The current generation is full of various musical cultures and forms.Electronic music,which was developed in the 20 th century for different timbral characteristics and unique music,has undergone four periods of development:concrete music,tape music,electronic synthesized music and electronic computer music.There have been many excellent composers who have fused the bamboo flute with electronic music to create more innovative bamboo flute works that differ from the characteristics of the traditional repertoire.For example,Professor Zhang Xiaofu’s "Moan" is one of the earliest electronic music works in China,and Mr.Liu Jian’s "The Night of the Full Moon on Banpo",etc.As a bamboo flute player,we need to explore and think about this fusion and the innovative development of bamboo flute.How can we preserve the traditional sound characteristics of the bamboo flute and the space for the bamboo flute player to play.The two are fused and innovated to produce a new musical language and new sound effects.This deserves constant practice and exploration by all bamboo flute players and composers.
