Research On Action Design In Paper-cut Animation

Paper-cut animation is a kind of art film style developed by drawing experience from traditional arts such as shadow play,folk paper-cut and traditional opera.Its educational function and aesthetic benefit have a profound impact on the spread of traditional culture.With the upsurge of traditional culture in today’s society,paper-cut animation has attracted more and more attention.This paper focuses on the existing paper-cut animation at home and abroad.On the basis of previous studies,it sorts out the definition and category of paper-cut animation and its relationship with folk paper-cut,shadow play,hair-pulling paper-cut,silhouette and the ’Hanging’ Book,and summarizes the basic elements of paper-cut animation action design.It mainly analyzes the stylized performance,stylized performance,rationalized action and the inner emotion driving of action design.Based on the above concepts,the paper cut animation works at home and abroad are interpreted and studied.Through case analysis and literature analysis,this paper demonstrates the rationality of motion design from the aspects of motion law,art style,time and space limitation and emotion expression of paper-cut animation.Finally,the paper discusses its auxiliary significance to the production of paper-cut animation,understands the application value of the creators’ action design,and provides valuable creation methods and research ideas for the creators and researchers of paper-cut animation.
