Research On The Application Of Woodcut Language In The Design Of Theme Picture Books ——Taking The "Huzhou Tea History" As An Example

The word picture book is actually derived from the Chinese character writing method of Japanese"絵本",which is a foreign language.It can be understood as"picture book",that is,a book composed of coherent narrative images.In the process of birth and development,picture books constantly reflect their unique artistic characteristics and literary value.When choosing the topic of this paper,the author takes Huzhou tea history as the research object of picture book design,mainly focuses on the artistry of picture books,and makes an in-depth study on the expression methods.Tea culture has a long history.Huzhou,located in the Taihu Lake Basin,is one of the birthplaces of tea culture in the world.Huzhou people love to taste tea,"tea" not only represents the leisure lifestyle of Huzhou people,but also carries the yearning and pursuit of Huzhou people for a better life.Huzhou is known as the "tribute tea capital of the Tang Dynasty",but the traditional tea making technology is lack of detailed records,and the picture books with this theme are even scarce.The history of Huzhou tea has not been equipped with a picture book so far,which makes it difficult for readers to intuitively understand this traditional craft.In order to combine theory with practice and ensure the accuracy and rationality of picture book design and paper writing,a large number of tea making process data and excellent picture book cases were widely collected and carefully analyzed in the process of preliminary investigation.At the same time,it explores the formal function and carrier media of picture books,and combs the application and presentation effect of woodcut forms in picture books.On this basis,combined with professional knowledge,through in-depth research and practice,the artistic charm of the picture book is improved by the superposition of rich knife techniques of wood carving,unique black-and-white language and watermark texture.There are not a few cases of woodcut picture books,but some picture books do not highly combine the uniqueness,generality and contrast of woodcut language with its content.It will be far fetched to integrate the two just to map books.In the process of picture book creation,it will be a far-reaching research project to constantly explore and appreciate the unique visual effect of woodcut language and apply it to the sublimation of picture book theme.
