| In recent years,more and more painters and scholars began to pay attention to the light in the painting works plays an extremely important role in the emotional expression of the picture.Then how does light appeal to the picture and act for emotion? Which kind of light inspires which kind of emotion? How to express the author’s own aesthetic concept and interest by presenting different forms of light in the picture? The solution of these problems has an important guiding significance for our practice of painting creation.After the argumentation,this paper holds that through the interpretation and depiction of light,painters can not only realize the expression of their own emotions,but also complete the mobilization and stimulation of the audience’s emotions,and trigger individual resonance.The innovation point of this paper is to summarize the relationship between different light and different picture emotions through a series of experiments,and to guide our watercolor painting creation practice.This paper will try to discuss the above points of view through the following four chapters: The first chapter reveals the effect of light on emotional expression by analyzing the factors affecting emotional expression in the picture.The second chapter traces the understanding and expression of light in art history to landmark masters and schools of painting,take time as the context to sort out the evolution process of light in painting from tradition to the present,and analyzes its relationship with emotional expression.The third chapter,based on the theory of light and emotion,carries out a group of experimental research and creation to explore how different light can mobilize and guide emotions,and summarizes a set of effective theories and methods to convey and infect emotions through the depiction of light in watercolor pictures.The fourth chapter applies theory to practice.With the help of different forms of light,a group of watercolor paintings are created on the theme of women’s emotions such as joy,anger,worry,fear,love and hate,and so on.Light is used to complete the expression of emotions in the picture. |
