Research On The Postmodern Aesthetic In Cyberpunk

Cyberpunk is a combination of Cyber and punk.It was born as a new genre of science fiction and quickly became the trend of the time.However,in its subsequent development,Cyberpunk has broken through the field of literature and entered various art fields such as film,animation,comics,design and music.Postmodern aesthetics is characterized by the pursuit of pluralism,subversion and rebellion against modernism and traditional aesthetics,the dissolution of rationality and order established by it,and the pursuit of new artistic practice.The birth of cyberpunk art is a response to the age of information network,and has various characteristics of post-modern aesthetics.It is a metaphor for the real world and a reflection on various problems in current social life.Therefore,it is feasible and meaningful to conduct a comparative study between cyberpunk art and post-modern aesthetics from the perspective of its occurrence time,expression technique and spiritual connotation.This paper adopts multidisciplinary comprehensive research method,image analysis method,literature research method,comparative research method and other research methods,aiming at inductive analysis and demonstration of the postmodern aesthetic characteristics of Cyberpunk art.The main content of this paper is divided into three parts.They are respectively the postmodern aesthetic embodiment of cyberpunk art,bopunk art and pop art of competition,and the artistic implication of Cyberpunk and its joint thinking and construction with postmodern aesthetics,corresponding to the second,third and fourth chapters of this paper.The first chapter of this paper briefly outlines the definition and characteristics of postmodern aesthetics,and briefly discusses the post-modernity of Cyberpunk’s art.The second chapter is the first part of the main content of this thesis,which discusses the visual presentation of cyberpunk’s art and the artistic language of Cyberpunk’s art,through the analysis of the work,the author points out five characteristics of cyberpunk art: low brightness and high saturation hues,information overload and neon lights,dirty and wet cities of the future, deconstruction and collage of East and west streetscape elements,disassembly of the human body and mechanical blending,it is summed up as the visual presentation angle of the screen metaphor and artistic language angle of the deconstruction and collage.The third chapter is the second part of the main content of this article.In this part,from the perspective of analogy,the analogy between cyberpunk art and pop art,and from the perspective of art history,it looks at the emergence and development of the genre,compare pop art with cyberpunk art,and through the comparison of their common points: collage and planarization,criticism and reflection,as well as their differences: different in time,different in development context,and cyberpunk art unique foresight,to further explain the artistic characteristics of cyberpunk art and its post-modern characteristics.The fourth chapter is the last part of the main content of this article.It discusses the artistic implication and the construction of aesthetics,first of all,it summarizes the artistic implication of the cyberpunk: a pessimistic,tense and depressing expression of social unrest,the future of scientific and technological development of the warning,the awakening of human consciousness,then,from the angle of aesthetics,the author puts forward the common thinking and construction of cyberpunk art and post-modern aesthetics,that is,art should resist the erosion of nihilism,and should take it as its duty to seek the habitat of human spirit.Finally,in the conclusion part,the conclusion of the full text at the same time raises the question of whether cyberpunk can be classified as the postmodern art,which can not be defined at present,and makes a reflection and interpretation.
