Research On Brick And Tile Building Components Of The Khitan People In The Liao Period

This paper mainly takes the brick and tile building components in the area under the rule of the Khitan people in the Liao period（907-1125 AD）as the research object.Brick components mainly include strip bricks,patterned bricks and brick carving components;tile components mainly include tube tiles,slab tiles,tiles and drip tiles.This paper organizes the existing excavation reports and related materials of the Khitan people in the Liao Dynasty,and divides the Liao regime into two cultural areas according to cultural characteristics,geographical location and historical records.The architectural components unearthed from the tombs,sites and relics in the area are summarized according to the process characteristics,and the relationship between the tombs,the sites and the architectural components of the relics is tried to be analyzed.Through typology and stratigraphy methods,we analyze the changes in the decoration and shape of different components of the Khitan people in the Liao Dynasty,and arrange the changing trends of building components in the Liao regime area.By comparing the development of architecture and tombs by comparing the decorative features and shape changes of the building components of the Khitan people in the Liao Dynasty,the building components in the area of the Khitan regime are divided into four phases: early,early,middle and late periods.From this,the differences and changing trends of architectural components in different cultural regions in different periods are determined.By comparing the characteristics of the building components in the Liao Dynasty and the same period,the origin of the building components in each period of the Liao Dynasty was determined.After listening to the comparison,it was found that in the early stage,it absorbed and inherited the manufacturing technology of the Tang Dynasty.In the early stage,it mainly absorbed the cultural factors of the Bohai Dynasty.In the middle stage,it absorbed the Central Plains culture of the Song Dynasty.In the late stage,it absorbed the cultural characteristics of the Xixia Dynasty,and finally spread the culture of the Jin Dynasty.caused an impact.The study determined the genealogy of the architectural elements of the Khitan Dynasty in China from the tenth to the twelfth centuries.The development process of architectural components in this period reflects the inclusiveness of Chinese culture,as well as the complexity and diversity of Chinese culture in development.
