| Teacher is one occupation that is rely on their talk.So some one describe the occupation as ‘Tongue cultivation’.The main tool for the teacher is discourse.The quality of teachteacher’s talk effects directly the result of the teaching.During the second language theology,the teacher’s language is not only ued for teachting but also a kind of understood input for students.The teacher’s talk proficiency can promote student’s second language acquisition.The author watched 8 teacher’s grammar teaching video from excellent teachers’ series,and analyzed the teachers talk.The author used the literature reading method,class observation method and discourse analysis method to observe the classes from some respects: the Length of the discourse,Use of phrases,Vocabulary density,questioning method,feedback,alternating adjustment strategy,and get some conclusions.The author discussed the Length,Use of phrases,Vocabulary density,questioning method,feedback,alternating adjustment strategy and get conclusion of the teachers talk.In the survey and research,the author find some commonality from 8 excellent teachers’ grammar teaching The sentences length is relatively short.And mostly short types are concentrated in declarative sentences and interrogative sentences,as well as special ‘half blank sentences‘.Teachers have a relatively large amount of speech,which reflects the characteristics of elementary grammar teaching,but the quality of teachers’ speech is better.It can promote students’ cognition and understanding of the target grammar;low vocabulary density and high vocabulary repetition rate;most of the questions appear as demonstrative questions,and teachers tend to let students answer collectively and assign students to answer;more use of positive feedback and interactive adjustment in teaching.The teachers focuses on helping students with higher-quality target grammatical output in a guided way.Basiced the conclusion,the author make some suggestion in grammar teaching.Besides,the author find some disadvantages from the text and look forward to make improve in the future.Through quantitative and qualitative research,this paper analyzes and discusses teachers talk from an empirical perspective.The conclusions drawn can reflect the characteristics of Chinese teachers’ grammar teaching talk in the primary stage and the actual situation of the teaching link to a certain extent.This paper would provide part of the empirical support for Chinese teaching. |
