With the advent of the experience era and the promotion of local intangible cultural heritage by various regional policies,more and more users begin to be interested in the cultural knowledge of traditional handicrafts.However,the knowledge system of traditional handicraft is complex,and its unique technological process and profound cultural connotation are difficult to be understood and recognized by the public in a short time.Nowadays,with the rapid development of digitalization,it is a social issue worth paying attention to how to improve users' cognition of traditional handicrafts through learning experience.The development of immersive virtual reality provides new opportunities for the protection and inheritance of traditional handicrafts,which can not only break the time and space limit of traditional handicrafts learning experience,but also provide more imagination and creative space for learners.Embodied cognition theory holds that cognition is formed by physical behavior and experience.Embodied interaction is a situation of physical presence.It is a cognitive situation that internalizes the perception image into the psychological space with the body as the main body,and emphasizes a mental state of immersion.Therefore,this theoretical perspective and interaction mode are highly compatible with immersive virtual reality experience.Based on embodied cognition theory,this thesis will conduct research on embodied interaction design of immersive virtual reality for traditional handicraft.The research combines the knowledge content of traditional handicraft with immersive virtual reality experience from the perspective of embodied cognition,and constructs the body behavior and image schema of learners in the embodied interaction situation through design practice,so as to improve learners' cognitive level of traditional handicraft in immersive virtual reality.Firstly,this thesis studies the origin,definition and characteristics of embodied cognition theoretically,so as to explore the influence and guiding significance of embodied cognition theory on immersive virtual reality experience.Secondly,this thesis classifies and summarizes the knowledge of traditional handicrafts at different levels,and proposes the cognitive mode of learners in traditional handicrafts immersive virtual reality experience from the perspective of embodied cognition.Secondly,this thesis classifies and summarizes the knowledge of traditional handicrafts at different levels,so as to put forward the cognitive methods of learners in the immersive virtual reality experience of traditional handicrafts from the perspective of embodied cognition.Then,an immersive virtual reality interactive design model for traditional handicraft is proposed from the perspective of design.Based on the construction of image schema(body-embodied relationship-interaction site),this model proposes the cognitive process of learners on three levels of traditional handicraft(sensor-behavior-abstraction)and the design process(embodied learning-interactive perception-dynamic generation-embodied representation).Finally,this research takes Cantonese porcelain as an example to design and develop immersive virtual reality interaction.The test verifies that the model enables learners to have a deeper cognition of Cantonese porcelain and proves the effectiveness of immersive virtual reality embodied interaction design model for traditional handicraft.This study optimized the interaction of learners in the immersive virtual reality experience,providing learners with the interactive behavior of forming and accumulating embodied experience and carrying out embodied representation.It improves learners' cognitive efficiency and cognitive degree of traditional handicrafts,and provides a case reference for the combination of the same type of traditional handicrafts with immersive virtual reality and interaction design. |
