| Color plays an indispensable role in our daily life.As one of the important visual elements,it can be used to distinguish different things and information.It also provides an important way for us to perceive and understand the world.However,there are some who can not correctly identify the color to get color information.According to the statistics of Color Blind Awareness,the color blind population accounts for about 4.5% of the total population.Due to the lack of congenital color vision or the damage of acquired color vision,color blind people are faced with many inconveniences in their daily life.With the continuous improvement of people’s living standards,society pays more and more attention to special groups.Scholars in different fields begin to study color blind groups.To some extent,these studies solve some of the problem of obtaining color information,but they are so limited in their field that can not solve the common problem of color recognition.Color information visualization is a set of color graphic symbol system which is suitable for color blind groups to convey information accuracy only by a single color in recognition and correction It is created through the actual investigation,induction and analysis of color blind groups and the research on color and graphic symbols.It is expected to be demonstrated and applied to daily life.Color graphic symbols are based on color and geometric graphics.According to the visual characteristics and lifestyle of color blind groups,common colors are combined with graphics to provide color blind groups with the way of "color shape symbols" to accurately distinguish different colors.It helps color blind people quickly solve the problem of color discrimination in daily life,especially when taking public transportation.This paper analyzes the visual characteristics of color blind groups through literature research.Based on the theory of semiotics and the principle of color psychology,this paper studies the relationship between color and graphics,and combines single color information with graphic symbols,which is convenient for color blind people to obtain accurate color information through graphic symbols in the scene with much color information.The paper understands the characteristics of color blind users through practical investigation and analyze their needs.According to the existing barrier free design for color blind groups,the problems existing in the visual design of color information are summarized and analyzed again.Combined with the actual situation,the subway guidance system with many problems is selected for in-depth analysis and design practice.However,due to the diversity and complexity of the types of color blindness,this research mainly focuses on the red and green blind with the largest number of color blind people,and tries to make up for the design limitation of identifying a single color information in daily subway travel instructions by introducing the color graphic symbol system into the subway guidance system.It is planned to expand the function of accurate identification of color symbols by using smart phone assisted app to fill the lack of barrier free design of color graphics "color shape symbols" for color blind people.In short,this topic hopes to better serve special groups through color graphic symbol design,arouse attention to the "sense of happiness,satisfaction and superiority" of special groups,and better apply the "scientific,professional and multidimensional" of the design in daily life,so as to achieve the necessity,rationality and feasibility of optimizing the visual design of color graphic information. |
