Study On The Musical Characteristics And Singing Of The Duet Of "The Farthest Heaven" In The Opera "Farewell To Cambridge"

The small theater opera "Farewell to Kangqiao" has been in production for twenty years,and has received rave reviews since its release,and is often seen in college music programs today.This opera focuses on the emotional stories of Liang Sicheng,Xu Zhimo,Lin Huiyin,Lu Xiaoman and Lao Jin in the 1920 s and 1930 s,and the composer uses rich compositional techniques to make a musical structure that combines East and West.After studying in the course of "Contemporary Presentation of the Comprehensive Beauty of Opera" and participating in the rehearsals and performances of the opera,the author found that the singing of "Heavenly Heights" in the opera has certain research significance.After studying the literature,film and audio-visual works,and summarizing with his own practice,he aims to study the artistic characteristics and singing features of the singing of "Heavenly Heights" in the opera "Farewell to Kangqiao".The introductory part of this paper describes the artistic characteristics of the opera.The introductory part of this paper describes the meaning and purpose of writing,sorts out the knowledge of studying opera "Farewell to Kangqiao" clearly,accumulates relevant knowledge,and puts forward research innovation points.The first part of the paper analyzes the literature,summarizes and concludes after the review,briefly outlines the background of the creation of the opera "Farewell to Kangqiao",the creators,and the characteristics of small theater opera.The second part describes the status of repertory singing in opera,and the important position of the "Heavenly Heights" singing in the opera.The third part analyzes the musical characteristics of the work by studying the score and libretto,and gives a detailed analysis of the emotional premise,style,libretto,and accompaniment weave of the work.The fourth part examines and solves the problems of the songs in singing by combining their own vocal learning experience.Several aspects are elaborated from the breathing of singing,biting,emotional elements,and the coordination of reprise.
