Research On Xi Jinping’s Important Discussions On Ideological And Political Education Of Youth

General secretary Xi has put forward many constructive views and propositions on the development of China’s various undertakings,among them,the growth and all-round development of young people is his special concern,which is reflected in his elaboration on the work of the communist youth league,the development of education,the construction of culture,the construction of social ideology and morality.From this,it can be seen that Xi believes that the ideological and political education of young people must be strengthened and improved if they are to be truly worthy of the great responlity of the age.Especially since the 18th national congress of the Communist Party of China,Xi attaches great importance to the ideological and political education of young people,and has put forward many instructions and expectations on why ideological and political education should be conducted for young people,the responsibilities of ideological and political education for young people,what to teach,how to teach,and how to build a whole-staff,all-dimensional and whole-process education system.It contains Xi’s new views and thoughts on how to be better on conducting ideological and political education for the youth under the new situation and new age,which is of great significance to enhance the appeal and effectiveness of ideological and political education to the youth,to gather the fighting force of the youth,and to consolidate and expand the party’s youth mass foundation.This study adopts the literature method,the dialectical analysis method,the method of combining theory with practice,the original texts of the study include Xi Jinping’s speeches,talks,symposiums,letters and his discourses on ideological and political education of youth during his work in Shaanxi province,Hebei province,Fujian province,Zhejiang province,the city of shanghai and the Central Committee of the Party.From the surface of the text to the bottom of the text,to discover the deep meanings that ordinary reading cannot grasp.According to the theoretical perspective of the principles of ideological and political education,this paper reviews and studies Xi’s important dissertations on ideological and political education of youth,and strives to summarize the profound connotation of these important dissertations comprehensively and systematically.This study consists of six parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly expounds the proposal of this research question,the significance of research,the review of research status,definition of relevant concepts,research methods,key points,difficulties and innovation points.The second part is the background that Xi Jinping is facing when expound the related issues of the ideological and political education of youth,mainly explaining the historical and realistic starting point of Xi’s thinking and judgment on the ideological and political education of youth.The third part is Xi’s important discussions on the guidelines and tasks of ideological and political education of youth,expounding Xi’s understanding of the direction and goal guiding the ideological and political education of youth and its specific way of implementation.The fourth part is the important discussions of Xi on the the contents of the ideological and political education of the youth,and expounds the educational requirements that Xi Jinping emphasizes to pass on to the youth.The fifth part is Xi’s important discussions on the methods,arts and carriers of ideological and political education of youth,and expounds Xi’s guidance on themethods,arts and carriers needed for the realization of the ideological and political education of youth.The sixth part is Xi’s important discussions on optimizing the environment of ideological and political education of youth,and expounds Xi’s important views on creating good external environment from both macro and micro aspects,so as to strengthen the achievements of ideological and political education of youth.
