On The Cultivation Of Ecological Civilization Consciousness Of Chinese Citizens From The Perspective Of Ideological And Political Education

Since the modern industrial revolution,the productivity has been greatly released,and the economy has been developing at a high speed,but the ecological environment has been destroyed unprecedentedly.Therefore,people have to re-examine the relationship between man and nature,and the awareness of ecological civilization has been born.After the reform and opening up,China’s economy has shown a high-speed development trend,and the development results are obvious to all.However,due to the long-term focus on economic development,the ecological environment has not been taken seriously and has been wantonly damaged.Although in recent years,our party and government attach great importance to the construction of ecological civilization,and the construction of ecological civilization in our country has achieved certain results,but there is still a big gap with the ideal goal.Human and nature are harmonious communities.Human production and life are inseparable from nature.Severe ecological environment increasingly threatens people’s life health and sustainable development of production.The number of Chinese citizens is huge,and the strength of citizens’ awareness of ecological civilization also directly affects the quality of ecological civilization construction.Therefore,it is urgent to improve people’s awareness of ecological civilization.Strengthening the cultivation of the awareness of ecological civilization is instrumental in easing the current tense ecological environment situation and providing considerable power support for the current economic development and the sustainable development of human beings.Ideological and political education is an important way to shape people’s thoughts and cultivate people’s behaviors,and there is a close relationship between Ideological and political education and the cultivation of ecological civilization consciousness.Therefore,this paper intends to explore the cultivation of ecological civilization consciousness in China from the perspective of Ideological and political education.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part summarizes the ecological civilization consciousness from the meaning,characteristics and contents of ecological civilization consciousness and the importance of cultivating the ecological civilization consciousness of citizens.The second part combs the relationship between Ideological and political education and the cultivation of citizens’ awareness of ecological civilization,and they are consistent and complement each other in content and method.The third part summarizes the existing problems of citizens’ awareness of ecological civilization in China and the problems in the cultivation of citizens’ awareness of ecological civilization according to the literature review of National public environmental awareness survey and Research Report in 2007,National Ecological Civilization Awareness Research Report in 2014,Citizen EcoEnvironmental Behavior Investigation Report in 2019 and analyzes the causes of the problems.In the fourth part,according to the problems existing in the cultivation of ecological civilization consciousness,combined with the ideological and political education methods,the corresponding solutions are put forward to seek the optimization of the cultivation effect of citizens’ ecological civilization consciousness.
