Research On Cross-border Cooperation Between Local Governments In Border Areas Under The Vision Of "One Belt And One Road" Initiative

With the integration trend brought by global economic cooperation,cross-border cooperation has become an important form of regional cooperation.The background of "One Belt And One Road" makes cross-border cooperation more and more universal.However,China’s current experience in cross-border cooperation is still at the stage of accumulation,especially the understanding of the role of border areas in cross-border cooperation needs to be further deepened.Based on this,this paper takes the cooperation of Dong xing National Open development Pilot Zone as an example to study the cross-border cooperation of local governments in border areas of China.Due to their differences,cross-border regions still face many difficulties and obstacles in the process of cross-border cooperation,making it difficult for them to give full play to their advantages.To get rid of the dilemma in cross-border cooperation,it is necessary to improve the capacity of local governments in cross-border collaborative governance,optimize cooperation mechanism and regulate government behavior,and build a system framework of "idea-organization-system".In this way,local governments in border areas can follow the trend of regional economic integration against the background of "One Belt And One Road",better integrate into the strategic pattern of national opening up,accelerate the pace of cross-border cooperation,and promote the sustainable economic and social development in border areas.
