| Cross-border flow is an important way of life for residents in border areas and it is a social interaction among border residents according to their own survival logic.Through the practice of cross-border flow,the border people can get a broader space for survival and development.Meanwhile,border residents also show their interaction strategies with border managers in different types of cross-border flow practices,so as to achieve reasonable satisfation of their own interests.Cross-border flow not only reflects the power competition cbetween countries at both ends of the border,but also promotes the border to become an important field for the interaction between state power and border people.In this paper,the author sorts out the interaction patterns reflected in different social situations between border residents and border managers in different historical periods in Maoping village.As border residents in the border areas of China and Vietnam,they show their subjective initiative to interact and negotiate with border managers in the practice of cross-border flow.,the managers of maoping village present a flexible management strategy of interactive consultation with the border residents when managing their border area.The border between China and Vietnam has experienced a process from "boundless territory" to "solid territory".The state gradually deepens its control over the border.State power is like an invisible net,influencing the local border people at different levels.Although the national border has the function of barrier and closure,in the process of Maoping village border people’s cross-border flow practice,the national border serves as a link between culture and economy,bringing more development opportunities for local border residents.With the increasing standardization and strictness of national border control,border residents satisfy their own interest demands through the interactive consultation mechanism with border managers in cross-border flow practice,and the power practices of border managers through such interactive consultation mechanism continue to shape the cross-border behaviors of border residents. |
