Analysis On The Current Situation And Influencing Factors Of Residents’ Participation In Urban Community Governance

Residents’ participation in community governance is an important part of government reform in China,and also one of the basic ways to develop urban grassroots democracy.Since the 1990 s,the government of our country has begun to reform the community governance,making the community governance develop in the direction of diversification,diversification and democratization.After decades of long-term and continuous reform,so far,more and more residents have participated in community governance,and the participation rate of residents has been greatly improved than before,and a new type of resident relationship is gradually forming.Although in the past few years,the participation of residents in community governance has developed rapidly in China,and the level and degree of participation of residents have been greatly improved,but at present,the community governance in China is still in the primary stage,and the residents’ awareness of democracy,participation and governance still needs to be improved.Based on the governance theory and public service theory,this paper summarizes the community related concepts and community development models in different countries.By using the methods of questionnaire,multiple regression analysis and interview,this paper conducts a field survey on the participation of community residents in Wuhua District.Based on the analysis of the questionnaire,interviews were conducted with the staff of the community neighborhood committee and relevant scholars.Therefore,there are some problems in the community governance of Wuhua District,such as the weak awareness of residents’ participation and low participation;the elderly are the main participants in the community,the middle-aged and other main social forces are not enough;the cultural participation is the main participation in the community,and the political participation is not enough;the community autonomy is not perfect;the community neighborhood committee and other relevant departments are lack of funds.In order to solve these problems,first of all,we should give full play to the role of Party organizations in the community.Party members and comrades should take the lead in participating in the activities in the community,so as to promote the community residents to actively participate in the activities in the community.The government should establish and improve the relevant legal system,increase the funds allocated to the community,and strengthen the management of the community.The community neighborhood committee should also deepen the reform internally To listen to the opinions of the community residents,increase effective communication with the community residents,focus on the residents,improve their own service quality,and improve the service level of the community;the neighborhood committee continuously improves the residents’ participation awareness and ability,strengthen the sense of belonging of the community residents,improve the residents’ participation in community governance,and promote the stability and good of the community through posting posters,conducting lectures,etc Good operation.
