| Political ritual is a venue for the power of political rulers to perform.Through the exercise of the ritual,the most important goal of the organizer of the political ritual—political legitimacy is realized.Since ancient times,China has had a wealth of ritual resources.From the sacrificial ceremonies of the feudal dynasty to the current National Day military parade and the inauguration ceremony,they have provided us with rich material cases for studying.political rituals.After the founding of New China,the socialist road that China has taken has allowed us to surpass the West in many ways.However,the legitimacy of our system has been challenged by the universal values of the West.In the process of our own legitimacy construction Among them,the political ritual has a pivotal position.Therefore,this article mainly analyzes the internal mechanism of contemporary Chinese political rituals from three dimensions,focusing on observing how contemporary Chinese political rituals mobilize ritual resources and what ritual technical means are used to process resources to achieve the desired purpose.In other words,what logical organization and operation are contemporary Chinese political rituals based on.And how it exerts ritual value.First of all,a successful political ritual is composed of material and spiritual elements.This article believes that the material components of a political ritual include time,space,personnel,sound,language and artifacts,and the spiritual components include ideology,mutual attention and emotion ties.Whether there are complete material and spiritual components is related to the success or failure of political rituals.In time and space,it must be able to evoke people’s common memories of specific historical events;be representative of personnel;and sound and language must be able to mobilize people’s emotions.At the same time,it is necessary to give the artifacts rich political connotations and let them play a symbolic role.The design of the material and spiritual elements reflects the ideology of the political power subject,and to a certain extent determines whether the ritual participants can generate positive emotions.Secondly,through political ritual and commemorative political rituals are the main types of contemporary Chinese political rituals.The material and spiritual elements have been optimized to form these two different types of political rituals.For the analysis of these two types of political ritual processes,this article adopts two analysis methods:separation-threshold-aggregation and structure-fusion.It is worth noting that political symbols play an important role in the ritual process.Symbols are a means of political expression.Political subjects distribute and use power by manipulating symbols.It is a window for us to accurately understand political life.In the end,the successful political ritual achieved the expected purpose after the exercise.When the participants of the political ritual enter the ritual,they will naturally produce corresponding short-term emotions in their hearts according to the nature of the political ritual they participate in.This short-lived emotion is converted into individual emotional energy through the performance of the political ritual.At the same time,a sense of morality to maintain group justice will be created,which will enable people to identify with political power and unite around political symbols created or strengthened by political rituals.Political symbols represent political power to some extent,and people’s attitudes towards political symbols express their attitudes towards political power.In addition,political rituals create or strengthen people’s political memory in the two dimensions of time and space.Political rituals are constantly"played",political memories are constantly updated,and political culture is deeply affected.The behavior of participants in political rituals is a direct manifestation of political culture.This repeated behavior in rituals makes political culture spread and inherited in political rituals.These are combined with the output of ideology in political rituals,the effectiveness of boosting political rule,and the tendency of institutionalization to ultimately serve the legitimacy of the ruler. |
