Research On Social Mobilization In Shaanxi-Gansu Border Soviet Area During The Agrarian Revolution

During the period of the Agrarian Revolution,the Communist Party of China,based on the actual conditions of the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Soviet Area,carried out effective social mobilization work for all social stratums,including the bottom people.The social mobilization work won the support of the vast majority people of the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Soviet Area,which enabled the Soviet Area to grow and develop,and eventually become the only remaining red base area of China in the later period of the Agrarian Revolution.In view of the situation that the current domestic and foreign research on social mobilization in the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Soviet Area is not systematic and comprehensive,this article studies the social mobilization in the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Soviet Area during the Agrarian Revolution.The main work and conclusions are as follows:The first part firstly analyzes the theoretical sources of social mobilization of the Communist Party of China from the perspective of Marxism theory,and then generalizes the understanding of the basic issues of social mobilization by the Communist Party of China,and finally explores the general situation of the Shaanxi-Gansu border area,mainly including the physical geography conditions,economic conditions,regional political situations and external political situations.The results show that the physical geography and economic conditions of the Shaanxi-Gansu border area have created favorable conditions for the Chinese Communist Party to carry out social mobilization work here.Since the beginning of the 20th century,the warfare between warlords in the Shaanxi-Gansu border area,and the widespread spread of Marxism,and the development and expansion of local party organizations also have played a significant role in promoting social mobilization work by the Chinese Communist Party here.The second part summarizes and analyzes the subjects and role of social mobilization work in the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Soviet Area during the Agrarian Revolution,the subjects including the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee,the local Soviet regime and the leaders of the Soviet area.The results show that the social mobilization work of the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Soviet Area has always been under the leadership and decision-making of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee,while the local Soviet regime has played a specific executive role,In addition,the leaders of the Soviet area have also made important contributions in promoting the social mobilization of the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Soviet Area.The third part summarizes and analyzes the objects and methods of social mobilization in the Shaanxi-Gansu Soviet Area.For the mobilization of the bottom-level people,the mobilization methods include public opinion propaganda and ideological education,in-depth executing of the agrarian revolution and economic construction,establishment of mass organizations,organizing democratic elections.For the mobilization of the KMT officers and soldiers,the mobilization methods include the establishment of organization within the KMT army,Publicity and guidance of KMT officers and soldiers,establishing personal relations with KMT officers and soldiers,leading soldiers in struggle,and giving preferential treatment and education to captured soldiers.For the mobilization of local groups and local armed forces,the mobilization methods include persuading and guiding,adopting joint or struggle methods to treat differently,reorganizing,and educating the armed forces.The results show that the Chinese Communist Party in the Shaanxi-Gansu Soviet area has adopted flexible and diverse mobilization measures for people,which is very effective and has united people from all social stratums,raised their political consciousness,stimulated their revolutionary enthusiasm,and maximized the revolutionary ranks.The four part summarizes the achievements and historical experience of social mobilization in the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Soviet Area during the Agrarian Revolution,based on the previous analysis.The results showed that,during the Agrarian Revolution,the Communist Party of China carried out extensive and in-depth social mobilization work in the Shaanxi-Gansu border Soviet area in accordance with the revolutionary situation and local conditions,which achieved good historical results.First,it created a good political foundation,mass foundation,economic foundation,cultural foundation,and military foundation for the revolution in the Soviet Area;secondly,it promoted the development of the Northwest Revolutionary Base Area and laid the foundation for the foothold of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.Taking history as a mirror,after carefully reviewing the basic situation of the social mobilization work in the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Soviet Area during the Agrarian Revolution,it can be seen that the key of success is that the Communists in the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Soviet Area can adhere to the party’s leadership,protecting the interests of the people,strengthening organization construction.Regarding the establishment of revolutionary armed forces as the core task of social mobilization,as well as maximizing the scope of mobilization targets and adopting flexible mobilization methods are the key to the success,and also are the important features of the revolutionary work in the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Soviet Area.
