Study On The Social Appeal Of The Communist Party Of China In The New Era

Social appeal is a direct embodiment of the Party’s ruling ability and leadership level,and an important guarantee for making full use of the advantages of the new national system to tackle urgent tasks and achieve deep integration among the Party,the country and society.The Nineteenth National Congress brought the strengthening of the Party’s social appeal into the construction of the great project of the new era.It is not only the inevitable requirement to realize the Party’s overall leadership,but also highly related to the promotion of the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.The social appeal of the Party in the new era has been reshaped in the self-revolution and the social revolution,and has been demonstrated and tested in the process of building a well-off society in an all-round way,especially in the great struggle against the COVID-19 pandemic.With the opening of the 14 th Five-Year Plan,China has entered a new stage of development towards the second centenary goal.At the same time,the Fifth Plenary session of the 19 th Central Committee of the CPC creatively integrated this plan into the long-range goals for 2035,which provides an unprecedented opportunity for the Party’s appeal.However,the task of reform and development in the new development stage has become more arduous.It is harder to integrate objects and it is insufficient for subjects to play their function.With the combination of old and new contradictions,the Party’s social appeal inevitably faces challenges.How to realize the integration of diversity on the basis of development,how to respond to the discrete caused by insufficient development,how to further activate the people’s enthusiasm to participate governance,and fully release the momentum of development require us to deeply study the mechanism of the Party’s social appeal and make it more in line with the requirements of the time,more persuasive and explanatory.Based on the basic theory of social appeal,this paper takes the development and change of Chinese society in the new historical position as the foothold,and probes into the practical path to enhance the social appeal of the Party basing on the development needs.The article mainly includes the following four parts:The first chapter analyzes the research basis and significance of the topic,and combs the current research situation of social appeal at home and abroad,and clarifies the research idea and methods on this basis.Finally,the possible innovations and shortcomings are pointed out.The second chapter summarizes the theory of social appeal of the CPC.The first is the definition of the concept of the social appeal of the CPC;the second is the in-depth analysis of the party’s social appeal from the perspective of the leadership system of the CPC;and the third is the analysis of its characteristics;the fourth is to sort out the theoretical basis from the perspective of classical Marxism and Sinicized Marxism.The third chapter analyzes the current situation of the social appeal of the CPC.This paper analyzes the achievements of the construction of the Party’s social appeal from four aspects:subject influence,object identity,carrier attraction and target appeal,but the people’s need for a better life is not enough,the subject’s prestige is insufficient,and the object is diverse,which all challenge the Party’s social appeal.The superposition of contradictions,the differentiation of interests of all social strata,the insufficient play of grass-roots party organizations’ function,and the dilution of mainstream ideological identity are the main factors restricting the promotion of the party’s social appeal.The fourth chapter discusses the feasible ways to enhance the social appeal of the CPC.In view of the above problems and the factors,the paper analyzes the countermeasures from the following four aspects: adhering to the high quality development to consolidate the material basis of the call,strengthening the construction of grass-roots party organizations to strengthen the organizational basis of the call,adhering to the mainstream thought leading to enhance the value consensus of the call,and adhering to the strategic goal guide to grasp the direction of the call.Enhancing the Party’s social appeal is to strengthen Party building.The Party building is the academic research hotspot,but there is few systematic research on the branch of social appeal.The Party’s social appeal,as a joint force result,is not only about the subject,but also affected by other factors.This article tries to discuss the mechanism of the Party’s social appeal from the practical interaction between the party and society.
