| As one of the educational intermediary systems,teaching materials are the link between educators and learners,and are the content of educational activities.The current articles on the comparison of textbooks of various subjects are very rich,but there are few researches on the textbooks of the Young Pioneers activity courses.The "Young Pioneers Activity Curriculum" was released on September 22,2015,more than ten years later than the syllabus of other disciplines.This also resulted in the late release of the Young Pioneers Activity Course student book,and the Young Pioneers instructors had a greater impact on the activities.Undesirable effects include:poor classroom efficiency and effectiveness,students gaining little experience and knowledge,simplification of Young Pioneers activities,and stagnant professionalization of counselors,etc.In addition,the editions of the Young Pioneers activity books currently used by different provinces and cities are inconsistent and the quality varies.Therefore,comparing different versions of the textbooks of "Young Pioneers Activities" is helpful to learn from the best of others.While providing counselors with a broader vision and rich resources,it also helps provinces and cities that have not yet developed the textbooks learning from experience.This article takes three versions of student books widely used in Beijing,Shaanxi,and Guangdong as the research object,and compares the readability of student books,the content of the textbooks,and the reading aid system.The main conclusions are as follows:From the perspective of readability,the three versions of the student book have a clear structure,low text reading difficulty,appropriate number of pictures,reasonable content,and a certain degree of readability;Judging from the content of the textbooks,the three versions of student books have rich teaching content,a single form of activity implementation,and the arrangement of pictures and texts complement each other,and they tend to pay attention to politics and children in ideology;From the perspective of the reading aid system,the three versions of student books have the most basic reading aid system.The preface,table of contents,teaching tips,and extended activities are shared by the three versions of student books.In addition,the Shaanxi version of the student book lacks a summary design.The problems in the compilation of the "Young Pioneers Activities" student book are as follows:the implementation of the Young Pioneers activities is single;the curriculum resources are not expanded enough;the content of the student book is not updated in time.Based on the comparison results and reflections on the three editions of the student’s book,the following suggestions are made on the compiliation of the student’s book:Enriching implementation methods and attaching importancc to political guidance;enriching curriculum resources and developing regional resources;keeping up with the trend of the times and updating teaching materials in a timely manner;cultivating professionals and improving professional standards;improving student book evaluation and management systems. |
